The residences have two periods during which all students must vacate by a certain time in order to close the halls. These are the winter break (residence halls only) and summer vacation (all students).
Students who vacate campus residences must follow the procedures designated by Residence Life by checking-out with their RA or Apartment Manager. Residence Life provides extensive information about check-out procedures. However, it is the student's responsibility to become aware of check-out dates and procedures, and make sure they follow them. Failure to do so will result in a $50 Improper Check-out charge, or a $150 Late Check-out Fee.
