Potential New Member Eligibility Policy
This policy outlines the academic requirements (GPA, credit hours, and judicial standing) and verification process for potential new members participating in fraternity and sorority recruitment at RPI. Chapters must use the Potential New Member Eligibility Request Form to ensure compliance during all recruitment periods outside of their council's formal process (e.g., informal or continuous recruitment periods). RSEI is exempt from the credit hour requirement.
Environment, Health & Safety Policy
This policy establishes the environmental, health, and safety standards required of all fraternity and sorority chapters residing in FSC-recognized facilities. It ensures compliance with institutional regulations and promotes the health, safety, and well-being of members and the campus community.

This policy governs leadership development programs hosted or endorsed by the Fraternity & Sorority Commons (FSC). Programs include IMPACT, LAUNCH, the FSC Leadership Development Series, AFSC Programming, and Peer-to-Peer Trainings. It ensures consistent implementation and attendance requirements, supporting the community’s commitment to education, leadership, and growth.
This policy requires the submission of the New Member Education (NME) form by all Professional Fraternities and Sororities (PFS), Rensselaer Panhellenic Council (RPC), Multicultural Sorority and Fraternity Council (MSFC), and Interfraternity Council (IFC) organizations each semester. The form must be completed, submitted, and reviewed by FSC staff before any new member education activities can commence.
This policy requires Multicultural Sorority and Fraternity Council (MSFC) and Professional Fraternities and Sororities (PFS) organizations to complete and submit the Membership Intake Form each semester before beginning any informal or formal recruitment or intake process, including new member education activities.
This policy mandates annual education for new members and active leaders on various risk mitigation standards. Topics include, but are not limited to, alcohol and drug safety, hazing prevention, and sexual violence education. Establishes the compliance % requirement that a chapters new members, leadership and membership.
The RPI Student Code of Conduct outlines the regulations, standards, and expectations by which students at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute must abide. It also defines the procedures that govern the functioning of the institution’s organizations.
Social Event Planning Standard
This standard provides a framework for the expectations placed on organizations hosting social events. It includes a detailed Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) that outlines the guidance used by RPI FSC to govern and support chapters hosting social events, both with and without alcohol. These procedures are based on six key criteria points to ensure safety and compliance.

These procedures cover event approval, alcohol use requests, and safety standards. Chapters must follow these guidelines to host responsible events and ensure attendee well-being.

Primary Chapter Advisor Annual Report
